Člen break-jazz-drumandbass-punkové kapely Alef Zero a breakové sekce U Merkura Sound Systemu, letitý vege-punk, anarcho-hipík, antifašista, nekritický fanoušek The Beatles. Po pádu bolševika se podílí na alternative/punkovém kvasu v Rožnově pod Radhoštěm coby bubeník několika formací, později s přáteli zakládá punkovou kapelu Kultra! (ovlivněnou texty a hudbou kapel jako Crass, Chumbawamba, Citizen Fish, Radical Dance Faction, Nomeansno, Levellers, Sonic Youth, Pixies), která za 7 let své existence odehraje desítky koncertů v tehdejším Československu, jejich písně se objevují i na punkových vinyl-kompilacích poloviny 90. let.

S rozvojem elektronické muziky počátku 90. let objevuje nové možnosti sebevyjádření a po rozpadu Kultra v roce 1999 se na několik dalších let noří coby DJ a MC do vln junglu, dubu, breakbeatu a jiných vylomenin. Jako MC doplnil Vaant svým mikrofonem sety převážně junglových DJs, z domácích kromě U Merkura Djs např. Philipa TBC, IM Cyber, Babe LN, Koogiho, Blulajty, X-morpha, Sayka, Raddema, Vaczecha, ze zahraničních např. holandského Falcona, nestora britského dnb Ed Rushe, finského Mufflera, Calyxe z UK, BanBana z Brazílie, aj.

Spolupracoval také s kapelou Blow na jejich albu Catch The Light z roku 2001 či s Patrickem Bergmanem, jejichž spolupráce dala mimo jiné vzniknout úvodnímu tracku Free Trade of Our Souls na kompilaci Planet Dance (X-Records) z roku 2003 na podporu ekologického hnutí Greenpeace, kde se objevila vedle písní EOST, Nana Zorin, Hypnotix, aj. Jejich další písně jako Walls and Barricades, A Day in the Life lze zaslechnout na vlnách Radia 1. Verš songu Make the Feathers Fly, dítko spolupráce s producentem Deniusem, dal název kompilaci Back in My Mind z roku 2005 od drumandbass.cz, kde se jejich píseň objevila vedle dalších počinů českých dnb producentů. Několik písní vzešlo také ze spolupráce s pražsko-hradeckou formací Uncless, světlo světa spatřily také tracky s Philipem TBC a minimal-techno DJ-kou a producentkou Clarou Bailar. Čas od času se objevuje na pódiu s Patrickem Bergmanem & The Starfleet a s příležitostním uskupením Nasty No Stars, kde se sešli ještě DJ’s Babe LN a Ghonzales, na bicí BJ Tzarr (Nana Zorin) v alternaci s Drama Jacqua a MC C-Lara (Klára Nemravová).

Od roku 1998 pořádá pravidelně každou (druhou) středu antifa-breakotéku LAMINATE v pardubickém klubu Žlutý pes, prvních pět let s Doc.Torrem, posledních šest let společně s Vaczechem.

A member of break-jazz-drumanbass-punk band Alef Zero and the U Merkura Sound System‘s Break Section, an aged vege-punk, anarcho-hippie, anti-fascist, uncritical Beatles fan. With the fall of the Bolshevik regime in the former Czechoslovakia he gets involved in the alternative/punk ferment in his hometown Roznov pod Radhostem as a drummer of a number of projects. Later on, along with his friends, he forms  punk band Kultra! (influenced by lyrics and music of bands such as Crass, Chumbawamba, Citizen Fish, Radical Dance Faction, NoMeansNo, Levellers, Sonic Youth, Pixies) that played tens of gigs within its 7-year existence in the then Czechoslovakia, their songs appeared on vinyl punk compilations of the mid-1990′s.

With the development of the electronic music in the early 1990′s, he discovers new opportunities of self-realization and following the split of Kultra he submerges as a DJ and MC into the waves of jungle, dub, breakbeat and other fractures of the dance music. As an MC he accompanied with his microphone sets of predominantly jungle DJs, apart from the U Merkura DJ’s those were, for example, Philip TBC, IM Cyber, Babe LN, Koogi, Blulajta, X-morph, Sayko, Raddem, Vaczech as well as Falcon from Holland, doyen of the British drum’n'bass Ed Rush, Muffler from Finland, Calyx from UK, Brazilian jungle magician BanBan to name but a few.

He also cooperated with band Blow on their Catch The Light LP released in 2001 or Patrick Bergman with whom he wrote the opening track Free Trade of Our Souls for 2003 Planet Dance compilation (X-Records) to support environmental protection movement Greenpeace where it appeared along with songs by EOST, Nana Zorin, Hypnotix, Skyline and more. Their other songs such as Walls and Barricades, A Day in the Life may be heard on the Czech Radio 1. A verse line of the song Make the Feathers Fly, a child of collaboration with d’n'b producer Denius, gave name to the first Czech d’n'b compilation Back in My Mind released by drumandbass.cz in 2005 where the song appeared alongside other acts by Czech d’n'b producers. A number of songs also resulted from cooperation with Prague/Hradec based formation Uncless; tracks are being prepared with Philip TBC for his debut album and with minimal-techno DJ and producer Clara Bailar. From time to time he joins Patrick Bergman & The Starfleet on stage and Nasty No Stars, an occasional formation also formed by DJ’s Babe LN and Ghonzales, drummer BJ Tzar (Nana Zorin) alterning with Drama Jacqua and MC C-Lara (Klara Nemravova).

Since 1998 he has been holding regularly every (other) Wednesday antifa-breakotheque LAMINATE in Pardubice-based club Zluty pes, the first five years together with Doc.Torr, the last six years with Vaczech.
